The Rockwell Natural Stone Panel Installation System

Rockwell Natural Stone Panels can be used on any structurally sound wall surface.   Rockwell Natural Stone Panels meet Uniform Building Code requirements for wall veneer treatments, allowing for fast, easy installation without wall ties or additional permanent footings. Each 6” x 24” Rockwell panel is applied with mortar, over a prepared scratch coat covering lath and waterproof barrier, to attach permanently to the wall surface. We recommend type “S” mortar. A temporary support ledge, such as a 2”x 4” stud or other board, or angle iron, is useful to provide a level, secure surface onto which the bottom course of Rockwell Panels may be laid. Once that first course is cured, additional courses may be laid up and the support ledge removed.
